DirectDebit is an alternative payment method for customers. This service is free of charge and allows you to conduct monthly fixed direct debit transactions from Buyer Banks to your local Citibank checking or savings account.

Yes, registration is required. You may do so by obtaining a registration form from your nearest Citibank branch.
You will need to have a Citibank Checking or Savings account, and the account number of the Buyer Bank from which you would like to have your funds debited.
No, this service is complimentary exclusively for Citibank customers.
The minimum amount is RM500, and the maximum amount is RM5,000,000 per direct debit instruction.
Yes, 1 time per month for each unique transaction. Please refer to the table below for examples of a "unique transaction".

Yes, you will receive an SMS notification if your DirectDebit transaction has failed.
Your initial DirectDebit registration form will be rejected, and you will need to fill up a new DirectDebit registration form.
To ensure safety and security, MyClear and the Buyer Bank will be required to authorize and approve your registration. As such, it will take no longer than 60 days for you to be registered.
The funds will be debited from your Buyer Bank account 1 working day before the Effective Date* that you state in the registration form.
* Effective Date is the date where the funds will be credited into your Citibank account. If the Effective Date falls on a Saturday/Sunday/public holiday, the funds will be credited the next working day.
You may check your account balance and transaction history via Citibank Online. The description on your statement will be displayed as "FPX CREDIT".
