- New-To-Bank (NTB) Customer Acquisition Campaign 2023 is valid from 1 April 2023 to 15 June 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
- For clarity on NTB Customer eligibility, the below exclusions apply for UOB Malaysia existing segment customers:
- Existing UOB Malaysia Wealth Banking customer to join as NTB Citi Priority customer
- Existing UOB Malaysia Privilege Banking customer to join as NTB Citi Priority customer
- Existing UOB Malaysia Privilege Banking customer to join as NTB Citigold customer
- To participate in the campaign, NTB Customer must fulfil one of the following Assets Under Management (“AUM”) requirements:
- Tier 1 NTB Citigold Customer: RM500,000 ≤ AUM ≤ RM999,999 that consists a minimum of RM100,000 in investment and/or insurance (as defined below)
- Tier 2 NTB Citigold Customer: AUM of ≥ RM1,000,000 that consists a minimum of RM200,000 in investment and/or insurance (as defined below)
- Tier 1 NTB Citigold Customer: RM500,000 ≤ AUM ≤ RM1,999,999
- Tier 2 NTB Citigold Customer: RM2,000,000 ≤ AUM ≤ RM4,999,999
- Tier 3 NTB Citigold Customer: AUM of ≥ RM5,000,000
- Tier 1 NTB Citi Priority Customer: AUM of ≥ RM150,000 that consists a minimum of RM30,000 in investment and/or insurance (as defined below)
- Tier 1 NTB Citi Priority Customer: RM150,000 ≤ AUM ≤ RM299,999
- Tier 2 NTB Citi Priority Customer: AUM of ≥ RM300,000
- AUM refers to combined balances held in customer’s primary relationship accounts including Citi checking and savings account (CASA), time deposits (TD), Investments and Insurance plans. For clarity, mortgage loan amount and its mortgage linked current account balance will not be counted towards AUM for this Promotion. The AUM amount also excludes funds from Citi Islamic Savings account and/or Citi Islamic Current Account.
- “Investment(s)” or “Investment Products” refers to Eligible Investment Products: Unit Trusts local currency or foreign currency, and/or Retail Bonds.
- “Insurance” or “Insurance Products” refers to Eligible Insurance Products: Minimum annualised regular premium of the amount required above (per year per policy) for Bancassurance face-to-face insurance product where regular premium consist of basic premium, riders premium (if any) and top up premiums (if any) distributed via bank branches during the Campaign Period.
- To be eligible for the Welcome Gift, NTB Customers must ensure that the minimum AUM in customer’s primary relationship as specified under these terms and conditions for Citi Priority and Citigold is fully funded within the first month of month-on-board (MOB1) and the AUM balances must be maintained for 3 months after the fund in month (“Criteria Fulfilment Date”) and consist a minimum Investments and/or Insurance as stipulated above.
- Each successful eligible customer can only participate in this Campaign once under a primary relationship and will only be entitled for the Welcome Gift once throughout the Campaign Period.
- The Bank shall not be responsible nor assume any tax liability in connection with the cash reward stated in the Campaign.
