The Malaysian Government has put in place the Movement Control Order, applicable nationwide from March 18 until March 31. As banks are exempt and classified as an essential service, there will be minimal changes to Citi Malaysia’s current operations.
The well-being of our employees and customers remain our top priority. We continue to monitor developments closely and have put in place precautionary measures. Some of the latest measures we have taken include:
- Initiated our Continuity of Business plan to ensure continuity of service to our clients
- Conducting body temperature screenings and health declarations for customers and visitors entering our premises including our branches.
- Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting at our offices, branch premises as well as ATMs.
For your safety and the safety of others, we encourage customers and visitors who are feeling unwell or suspect that they may have been exposed to COVID-19 to avoid visiting our offices or branches and promptly seek medical care.
Citi continues to be accessible through our Branch network, ATMs, digital banking channels, including Citibank Online at www.citibank.com.my and the Citi Mobile® App. CitiPhone services are available and operating as usual.
We are also available to our Wealth Management (Citi Priority, Citigold) clients through our Relationship Managers and Service Bankers.
