Applicable for application made under B40 category
To qualify for the Expanded Targeted Repayment Assistance Program (“Program”):
- You and/or your spouse are registered in and are a recipient of the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) or Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR).
- The Bank will rely on your records on the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) or Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) database to confirm your eligibility.
- Your existing loan/financing was approved before 1 October 2020 and is not in arrears exceeding 90 Days Past Due at the time of your application/request.
- You are entitled to only One (1) of the following relief program option
Option 1
- 3-month deferment of instalments/ payments.
Option 2 (not applicable to Amortizing revolving mortgage / Overdraft products / Citibank Home Financing-I and Ready Credit)
- 50% reduction in your loan/financing monthly instalment/ payment for 6 months.
- If you are currently enrolled in a Targeted Repayment Assistance (TRA) and you are applying for an extension to an approved program, The Program will start after the existing TRA ends. If you are currently enrolled in a TRA program and decide to switch to a different option, the existing TRA will be terminated and the new Program will start from the next loan/ financing instalment/ payment.
- Upon your confirmation of the relief program option required, the assistance will commence from the loan/ financing facility’s next monthly instalment/ payment.
- The monthly repayment amount (monthly instalment/payment) and/or financing tenure of your loan/financing will be adjusted to reflect the higher overall financing cost.
- For Option 1, interest/ rental/ profit will be charged and accrued but will not be compounded during the program period.
- A loan/ financing tenor extension will be granted automatically to provide for the repayment of the deferred instalment/ payment amount and interest/ rental/ profit thereon.
- When the Program period ends, you are obligated to resume your original monthly instalment/ payment of your loan/financing facility. Please note that your original monthly instalment/payment will be adjusted in accordance with clause (g) above.
Applicable for application made under M40 category
To qualify for the Expanded Targeted Repayment Assistance Program (“Program”):
- You and/or your spouse must be currently registered in and are a recipient of the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) program.
- The Bank will rely on your records on the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) database to confirm your eligibility.
- Your existing loan/financing was approved before 1 October 2020 and is not in arrears exceeding 90 Days Past Due at the time of your application/request.
- You are entitled to only One (1) of the following relief program option:
Option 1
- 3-month deferment of instalments / payments. By selecting this option, you hereby confirm that you have lost your job / business income due to the pandemic and that the Bank may upon request at a later date require you to submit the necessary documentations (e.g. pay slips, bank statements, etc.) for validation purposes. Upon such validation, if it was established that the offering of the program was not done in accordance with the established program terms, the Bank reserves the right to modify or withdraw the assistance program accordingly.
Option 2 (not applicable to Amortizing revolving mortgage / Overdraft products / Citibank Home Financing-I and Ready Credit)
- 50% reduction in your loan/financing monthly instalment/ payment for 6 months. By selecting this option, you hereby confirm that your individual/household income is experiencing a reduction due to the pandemic and that the Bank may upon request at a later date require you to submit the necessary documentation (e.g. pay slips, bank statements, etc.) for validation purposes. Upon such validation, if it was established that the offering of the program was not done in accordance with the established program terms, the Bank reserve the right to modify or withdraw the assistance program accordingly.

- If your business is a Microenterprise as maintained in Bank’s internal records.
- Your loan/financing approved limit was RM150,000 and below.
- Your existing loan/financing was approved before 1 October 2020 and is not in arrears exceeding 90 Days Past Due at the time of your application/request.
- You are entitled to only One (1) of the following relief program option:
Option 1
- 3-month deferment of instalments/ payment.
Option 2 (not applicable to Amortizing revolving mortgage / Overdraft products / Citibank Home Financing-I and Ready Credit)
