Terms and Condition:

Applicable for application made under Individual category
To qualify for the Repayment Assistance Program (“Program”):

  • Individuals categorized as B40, M40 or T20 segment are eligible for this Program as (“individuals” or each, an “individual”)
  • The assistance will be applicable for existing loan/financing approved on or before 30 June 2021 and is not in arrears for more than 90 days at the time of selection/request for assistance effective 7 July 2021.
  • Your loan/ financing presently must not be under rehabilitation with Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK) and you must not be an undischarged bankrupt or subject to a bankruptcy proceeding at the time of request.
  • If you have a guarantor for your loan/financing, you have obtained consent from the guarantor (if applicable) for your selected option.
  • You are entitled to only One (1) of the following relief program option
    Option 1
    • 6-month deferment of instalments/ payments.
    • Option 2 (not applicable to Amortizing revolving mortgage / Overdraft products / Citibank Home Financing-I and Ready Credit)
    • 50% reduction in instalments/ payments for 6 months.
  • If you are currently enrolled in the existing 3 -month deferment/ Targeted Repayment Assistance Program(TRA) of instalment/ payments program, and applying for a new payment assistance program for Option 1 (6-month deferment of instalments/ payment), the existing TRA will be terminated and the new Program (6-month deferment) will start from the next loan/ financing instalment/ payment .
  • If you are currently enrolled on Option 2 (50% reduction in instalments/ payments for 6 months) and you are applying for an extension of that program. The new Program will start after the existing TRA ends.
  • If you are currently enrolled in a TRA program and decide to switch to a different option, the existing TRA will be terminated and the new Program will start from the next loan/ financing instalment/ payment.
  • For Program requests made in the month of July 2021, please be informed that this Program will commence from the loan/ financing facility’s next monthly instalment/ payment. However, if you wish to commence this Program in July 2021, please notify the bank of such intention for further assistance
  • For request made after July 2021, the Program will commence from the loan/ financing facility’s next monthly instalment/ payment
  • You agree to furnish the Bank upon request with additional information/ supporting documents which the Bank may reasonably request.
  • Any interest/ rental/ profit levied will be charged and accrued but will not be compounded during this Program.
  • A loan/ financing tenor extension will be granted automatically to provide for the repayment of the deferred instalment/ payment amount and interest/ rental/ profit thereon.
  • You have the option to engage the Bank to revise the monthly repayment/payment amount and/or schedule if your financials improve to reduce overall financing/borrowing costs.
  • When this Program ends, you are obligated to resume your normal monthly instalment/ payment of your loan/financing facility. For the avoidance of any doubt, the monthly repayment amount (monthly instalment/payment) and/or financing tenure of your loan/financing will be adjusted to reflect the higher overall financing cost.
  • If your existing loan/ financing instalments is in arrears for more than 90 days at the date of selection, you agree for the bank to offer an alternative solution/ customized or to share my loan/financing details with AKPK for further financial advice on managing my debt/ financing obligations and allowing AKPK to access my CCRIS information
  • The Bank reserves the right to modify/rescind the repayment assistance if there were any false, misleading or incomplete representation.
Applicable for application made under Microenterprises / SMEs
To qualify for the Repayment Assistance Program (“Program”):

  • If your business is a Microenterprise / SME as maintained in Bank’s internal records or you have declared to ascertain that it meets the definition issued by SME Corporation Malaysia.
  • The assistance will be applicable for existing loan/financing approved on or before 30 June 2021 and is not in arrears for more than 90 days at the time of selection/request for assistance effective 7 July 2021.
  • Your loan/ financing is presently not under rehabilitation with Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK) and your company is not wound up or subject to an existing winding up petition/notice at the time of request
  • You declare that you are the duly authorised/empowered director/ partner/sole-proprietor to request for opt-in of the above package and if you have a guarantor for your loan/financing; your guarantor is with Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC) / Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP) and you have obtained consent from the guarantor (if applicable), for selected option below.
  • You are entitled to only One (1) of the following relief program option:
    Option 1
    • 6-month deferment of instalments/ payment.
    Option 2 (not applicable to Amortizing revolving mortgage / Overdraft products / Citibank Home Financing-I and Ready Credit)
    • 50% reduction in instalments/ payments for 6 months.
  • For SME customers, by selecting the options, you hereby confirm that your financial condition has been adversely affected by the pandemic and have difficulties meeting repayment obligations
  • If you are currently enrolled in the existing 3 -month deferment/ Targeted Repayment Assistance Program (TRA) of instalment/ payments program, and applying for a new assistance program of Option 1 (6-month deferment of instalments/ payment), the existing TRA will be terminated and the new Program (6-month deferment) will start from the next loan/ financing instalment/ payment .
  • If you are currently enrolled on Option 2 (50% reduction in instalments/ payments for 6 months) and you are applying for an extension of that program. The new Program will start after the existing TRA ends.
  • If you are currently enrolled in a TRA program and decide to switch to a different option, the existing TRA will be terminated and the new Program will start from the next loan/ financing instalment/ payment.
  • For Program requests made in the month of July 2021, please be informed that the Program will commence from the loan/ financing facility’s next monthly instalment/ payment.   • For repayment assistance request made after July 2021, the assistance will commence from the loan/ financing facility’s next monthly instalment/ payment
