What You Get
Citibank Credit Shield Plus takes care of your outstanding credit card balances in the event of Temporary Total Disability, Permanent Total Disability, Diagnosis of 36 Critical Illness or Death
Up to RM 100,000 for each Classic and Gold principal cardmember
Up to RM 300,000 for each Platinum principal cardmember
No premium will be charge for the first 30 days of cover from the effective date

Citibank principal cardmembers aged 21 to 59 are eligible for Credit Shield Plus protection without answering any health question or taking a medical examination - as long as you declare that you are in good health and free from any physical deformity in the enrollment form
How It Works
You pay as little as 65 cents for every outstanding balance of RM 100 each month
e.g.
This month's outstanding balance
= RM 1000
You pay
= RM 6.50 per month
Premium payments will be debited monthly from your Citibank credit card account
Assurance will be terminated if the credit card account becomes delinquent
What Policy Does Not Cover:
Disability and Death benefit will not be payable due to the following conditions:
Sickness or injury for which treatment or advice has been taken within 12 months prior to the commencement date of assurance
Sickness occurring within 30 days from commencement date of assurance
Suicide within 12 months from commencement date of assurance
Self-inflicted injury, whether sane or insane
Occasioned or contributed to by HIV infection and AIDS-related condition
Pregnancy or any related complications arising due to pregnancy
Critical Illness will not be payable due to the following conditions:
If Critical Illness is diagnosed prior to the commencement date of insurance
If Critical Illness is diagnosed within 30 days from the commencement date of insurance
